Hi, After having a BCC removed from my forehead 3 years ago I have recently found out I have a BCC just under my right eye along with two others elsewhere on my face. I have been advised that excision will be necessary and that there is a risk of the one near my eye causing my eye to be stretched once it is stitched up. This could also lead to what they call “runny eye” which could be permanent or may slowly revert back over time as the skin grows. Has anyone ever had any experience of this?
is excision the most appropriate option or would something like MOHs be better?
Thanks for any advice.
Any excision on the face especially around the eye area would be Mohs surgery. I would be very surprised if this wasn't offered to you.
I wish you all the best with your surgeries and let us know how you get on X
