Efudix on nose and wearing glasses

Hi. I’m new here. Can anyone help? I need to apply Efudix cream for 3 weeks to a small area on my nose. My reading glasses may come into contact with the area. Is it okay to keep wearing my glasses after applying so long as I avoid any contact with the eyes and clean my glasses regularly. Thanks.

  • Hi Icelanda I too used efudex on the side of my nose where my glasses sit. I only wear them for reading so kind of perched them at the end of my nose and peered through ! It was a bit of a nuisance but I managed it. I do not think it does the area any harm to put glasses on it but as you said I would be careful not to touch your eyes etc but that is important wherever you apply it.
