Hi. 11 months ago I had a Bcc removal by incision method from my lip and just below . This has left me with a white scar line down my lower lip and wondered if anyone has had lip blushing on a scar and what was the outcome ? I am also getting laser treatment to help with the result of my scar. Is this something anyone else has had and was it successful ? I have suffered real social anxiety due to my scaring and didn’t seem to be getting any better after 11 months !!!

I'm sorry to read that 11 months after you had a BCC removed from your lip you still have a noticeable scar which is causing you social anxiety.
I have quite a few scars on my body, you can read my profile if you want to know why, and most of them are in visible places depending on what I'm wearing. Although they are still noticeable I have to say that I have largely forgotten about them and, if someone mentions them, then that gives me the chance to warn them about the dangers the sun can pose. However, I realise this doesn't help you.
I've used the search facility to look for posts which mention 'lip brushing' but drew a blank I'm afraid. As I didn't actually know what it was I've googled it and think it's tattooing colour into your lips. If this is the case I think it would be worthwhile checking with your consultant that this is a safe procedure for you to have, bearing in mind your BCC diagnosis and subsequent removal.
