Good afternoon
Hope everyone is doing ok. I’m not going to lie, I’m feeling very anxious as I feel my BCC has come back on my face after having MOHS surgery in October. It was very strange as I have an appointment to go to the hospital in November for laser treatment and I was telling my husband and friends about how scared I am about the cancer coming back - and that evening, I received a text message to say my appointment has been moved to this week. I feel someone was definitely looking out for me!
I think that worrying about recurrence is something that we can all understand but hopefully you'll discover that your fears are unfounded when you have your appointment this week.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
Do come back and let us know how you get on at your appointment.
(((hugs)))
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
