Hi I orgininally joined macmillion forums to get advice for my husbands terminal prostrate cancer , never dreamed I be concerned about myself.
I have had a 1cm produding lesion /tumor removed .from my face . hopefully it was keratoacanthoma, as grew rapidly over 2 months but might have been BCC. I also have had a biopsy of a highly suspicious bcc that I've had for 3 yrs. I had the traditional scalpel 3cm line and stitches to close.
The large lesion was near my nose/eye and its been 48 hrs since procedure and my face is drooping. I'm worried some nerves have been damage as I can't open my eye properly and my mouth can't drink properly.
Has anyone else ever had this post tumor removal.? And what was the outcome.
I'm also worried about the results of the biopsy as I would hate to go through this again
Hi Worriedwife2
I haven't had any lesions removed from my face so haven't experienced the side effects you describe.
Have you spoken to your hospital team about this? If not, it would probably be a good idea to give them a call today especially as you say that you can't drink properly or open your eye.
((hugs))
