Hi. I have had a mole, not doing anything at all. Recently I have experience itchy and scabs and it's grown. I went to the doctors today. I have been referred as a emergency. For Skin Cancer. I'm not sure what to do. It's very scary

It's scary when you find a mole that's changed but you've done the right thing in going to see your GP. They in turn have referred you to see a dermatologist who will examine your mole. The dermatologist may decide to have the mole removed and sent off for a biopsy to see what it is. I know how scary this is but often a 'dodgy' mole turns out to be completely benign.
While you're waiting to see the dermatologist my best advice would be to keep busy doing things that you enjoy so you don't spend time worrying. Also please try to avoid looking for answers on google as lots of information out there is out of date. If you want to ask any questions we'll all be happy to share our experiences with you.
