Waiting for op but just wondering where people go to get makeup to cover up scars. Boots or is there somewhere more specialised. One of the things bouncing round my head.
Hi Bearcarer welcome to the forum. I see you have mentioned Boots and I wondered if you knew that Macmillan have a partnership with Boots. Thus means that people who have or have had Cancer can book a Macmillan 20 minute appointment free at any Boots that have a number 7 counter. I'm not sure if that's if help or not but worth a try..x
This is really interesting to know - how do you go about booking that? I had my surgery 2yrs ago now and although it’s medically healed very well, I’m very conscious of my scar because it runs from the middle of my forehead, down between my eye and nose and out into the middle of my cheek. I find people stare quite a bit so would love to be able to cover it up.
Hi, I have had facial skin cancers (Basal Carcinoma)and had surgery to remove them. The surgery was successful, but I am left with scaring.
I have tried on line and local chemists, but unfortunately no one could help in recommending appropriate Cover Up Concealer.
I would love know where to purchase Cover Up Consealer. Any help would be appreciated
Regards
Lucy Bear.
