Newbie 2 weeks post surgery for appendiceal adenocarcinoma

I have had cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC just over 2 weeks ago. Was discharged after 9 days as everything was going well. Since being home I am struggling the side effects, pain, constipation and bloating. Keep trying all the things they say you should do but I am in agony with the pain from bloating. At a point now where this is getting me down. I will read all the information I can find I this site.

Hi there....you might want to look to join private FB group Pseudomyxoma Survivor as there are lots of members who are patients of The Christie and Basingstoke with lots of experience and advice.

How is your situation with bloating and stomach cramps?

I have swelling every single day which seems to get worse as the day goes on. I have been told that I may have a seroma but nothing can be done now as it is too late to aspirate. The stomach cramps have gone but the whole of my abdomen is tender to touch. I am suffering still with constipation. I am going to get in touch with the GP next week for advice. I feel like now I am post 8 weeks surgery I shouldn’t be feeling like this.
