Does anyone have any experiences of this, advice or guidance. I'm really worried about the future.

I'm a 40 year old mum of a 5 year old and i had my appendix removed in December. Follow up revealed goblet cell adenocarcinoma and now I'm having preventative surgery.

I'm scared it will have spread, scared of surgery, menopause and recurrence.

I feel like i cant talk at home because of my little girl and everyone just keeps telling me it will be fine. But what if it isnt!

  • Hi there

I am a Christie Hospital patient.  Try not to overthink...easier said than done. CRS/HIPEC surgery is the gold standard treatment.

You might want to join the UK charity Pseudomyxoma Survivor private FB group as there are members there in the same situation as you who can give you guidance and advice as to what to expect
