Hi everyone I'm new to this page so please excuse me if I ramble on, my hubby was diagnosed DLBCL 2 yrs ago, he went into full remission last summer we were absolutely and looking forward to getting back to normal we had just gotten over that when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, so at end of January this year he had his op, he recovered well, no problems etc. He was back for his check up today, his PSA is through the roof so it seems he has cancer somewhere in his body, we are both devastated, so it's back to waiting on scans etc. My head is fit to burst, I'm trying to be very brave for him, but I just want to howl at the moon, he is very matter of fact about everything, so fingers crossed for him for his upcoming battle, thank you for listening to me

Hi Hibbie, Linda
I want to apologise. Your post has been highjacked in a terrible way. I can only hope that by reading all this nonsense that you can see life goes on after a PC diagnosis. It's just gone wrong as theres been a lot of input. Will you start a new post with the results of your husbands tests? it may be easier to bring us all back into the room that way. I sincerely hope everything goes well for you and best wishes to you both.
Lx
Hi Barry, thank you, but I have enjoyed some of the posts, so no problem. George goes for a full body bone scan tomorrow, so fingers crossed for him. Had a bad day yesterday everything just fell on top of me, very down and very tearful, all the worst case sceanio's going through my head, feeling a bit better today, but won't relax till we know, then a neighbour tells me her cousin does of PC well that was the straw that broke me. Once we have th results of the scan I will start a new post
Linda
Does he think I'm a man?? I guess my profile Barry W will do it and I've never really said Im a woman. Saying "Partner" can be misleading. BarryW is from the singer Barry White- song for my "partner" - "you're the first, my last, my everything." I like to belt that out after a few drinks.
I'm a Lorraine as you know
Hoping all goes well Linda......my husband had his bone/body scan last Thursday.....he quite enjoyed the experience....lol He is ever the joker and glass half full. Trust me, we were grateful of that tody.
Till you post again....chin up girl, you've got this.....we are all warriors......we rise and we fall, but we always rise high the next time!!!!
