Hi everyone I'm new to this page so please excuse me if I ramble on, my hubby was diagnosed DLBCL 2 yrs ago, he went into full remission last summer we were absolutely and looking forward to getting back to normal we had just gotten over that when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, so at end of January this year he had his op, he recovered well, no problems etc.  He was back for his check up today, his PSA is through the roof so it seems he has cancer somewhere in his body, we are both devastated, so it's back to waiting on scans etc.  My head is fit to burst, I'm trying to be very brave for him, but I just want to howl at the moon, he is very matter of fact about everything, so fingers crossed for him for his upcoming battle, thank you for listening to me

  • That's a good point, sometimes I have lost the thread by the end and do we really want to know how many muffins u had for teaSweat smile

  • Have you ever known a complicated man, we are all simple from Yorkshire, just ask Brian.

  • I can agree with that   - I can see Yorkshire from my bedroom window - I think we need to grow the Pennines a little more!!

Remember which county won the war of the Roses - the red one!!

    Best wishes though - Brian.

  • You men clearly have not had enough hormone treatment, if you had you would be able to keep up with several conversations at once and also be able to multitask with the muffins.

  • Thank's Grundo appreciate the support, I really appreciate what they are saying but why the over elaboration, keep it simple for us simple men.

  • This is a skill that we have that takes years of practice. Multi layered. Stick to what you know best: the offside rule and saving as many unused cables as you can.Joy

  • As you very well know the war of the roses was not Yorkshire v Lancashire as we know them today, PS i did English history at Uni. and i like how you sat on the fence regarding my post to the ladies.

Obviously with my Community Champions hat on I can't take sides.  And you already know I  shop at "Pretty Little Thing" so I think I will refrain from comment!!! GrinGrinGrin.

I think after 28 months of hormone treatment I even know how the mind of a woman works.Thumbsup

  • L multitasking is a myth scientifically proven, an illusion, you actually lose mental capacity trying to do it, much more efficient to focus on one thing at a time, I have had 9 rounds of HT with 6 to go, Sept 2025, will that be enough HT for me to keep up with the girls, hell i may even be one of the girls by then

  • May try pretty little things myself soon, god i hope Sheila never see's this as you know we get moobs, well Sheila and me were comparing, if you follow and I'm not giving the verdict, though i was a little disappointed with the result, make of that what you want.
