hi im unsure how to exp[ain my feelings without sounding selfish.
Hi Daveyboyz
A good start would be to give us your stats which the hospital should have given you. And don't worry about sounding selfish I'm sure we have all asked why me - I have for sure.

Hi Daveyboyz
Like you I have recently been diagnosed, It's tough at first and I am still having mixed feelings but I have found that talking about it you realise that it is true and yes it has happened, once you get over this stage you can plan the way ahead.
This forum is the best place to start, as we have all been through how you are feeling, you will not sound selfish and you will get some sound advice from real people, if you want to research your symptoms, treatment etc look on sites like this one and don't just google it as it will become scary
I wish you all the best in your journey
Regards Chris
Hello Daveyboyz
I was diagnosed nearly five years ago.It is tough at first. Lots of dark days. But if you need any support or advice this is a good place to start. Lots of wise old heads on here.
Good luck.
