Hi Joe thanks still trying to get my head round it he is stuborn and only tells me what he thinks i should know i think he forgets im a grown up with grown up kids
Well his psa was 2000 went down to 900 and back up at 1200 he is stage 4 they said from the start no chemo he was to old at 80 but hormone treatment seemed to work now the psa is increasing and cancer is in his bones
Hi
Thats a high PSA mine was 893, I have known people with 10,000.
Its not a point of getting your head round this, people of his age are very proud, sometimes they do not understand all what is happening and because of there age, they think it’s there’s to deal with.
If your on here you must have goggled his condition, does he talk with anyone ? If you get a chance just try and sit down and casual chat about times gone by, happy thoughts, photos, anything to just let him open up.
Try to keep him positive
Take care
Joe
