PSA 9 Months post Hormone Therapy

Just thought I'd share my latest PSA which I received at a face to face oncology appointment today. Its now 9 months post coming off hormone therapy In July 2025 (last 3 monthly Decapeptyl injection April 2025). My PSA is now 0.12 which is pretty low but I am a bit concerned at the speed it appears to be coming back. I was on hormone therapy for 24 months.

Next test will be in 6 months time.

  • It’s easy for me to say relax but you should be relaxed.

    The PSA is a guide figure that at the beginning is really important but as the years fall by the way you feel and your real pains are more influential.
