Hi everyone
I promised to let the caring people who had read my last post were I was up to when I found out
Here's a brief recap
I was 60 and diagnosed in Sept 2019 and went on Hormone therapy straight away
My diagnoses was T3b N1 M0 - high risk and aggresive
Gleason 4+5=9 treatable not curable
2021 I had chemotherpy followed by a rest and then Radiotherapy
after the treatment my psa remained at 0.1 undetectable until February 2025
So here goes...
In February 2025 my psa went to 0.07 followed by rises in the same year to 0.23 / 0.28 / 0.44 and in December 2025 it then went to 0.53 in just four weeks.
At this point it was sent to MDT via my Urologist
I had a already had a ct scan and a bone scan
MDT wanted a PSMA PET CT Scan which was done 3 weeks ago at the Christie Hospital
On Friday my Urologist called to tell me that they had found some movement on the neck nodes and and stomach nodes
She said firstly that they wanted me to have a biopsy on my neck (to be arranged)
as for the stomach no biopsy was mentioned as yet.
Saturday coming I am to have a camera down my ureatha and into my bladder (this was pretty arranged before the PET scan by the Urologist due to tingling and itchiness in the ureatha along with sore and very aching testicular pain
Urine test for uti was ok.
So that is where I am up to right now.
I already feel less stressful now by sharing this with you my friends, if anyone could give me any advise or questions to ask at my neck biopsy or any forthcoming meeting I would be so grateful
Thank you for reading my post, please all take care

Hi Roger That
I'm just like you fatigued and also have to sleep if I can in thw afternoon before Mrs Spud gets home from work, if I don’t I am in bed for 7.30pm
I go for another PSA blood test tomorrow as I am due to see the Oncologist 3rd March
As you have.read I have alot going on so just have to wait for a biopsy date for my neck.
Went for a walk with the dog to clear my head and my wife rung to see where I was ...
I just needed to be with my four legged friend who is a great listener and doesn't answer back.
I wish you all the best of luck moving forward
Take care
Regards

Hello Spud (Spuduknow )
Thanks for posting - we have something else in common apart from a cancer diagnosis - my ex racing greyhound knows everything that's going on with me - and yes, that's a great part of the day, we go for our walk and we forget everything that's going on!!
So I am not sure how much I can help so:
* Here's a link to the Head and Neck cancer group:
I don't know if they can help you with the neck biopsy - but you never know and it's worth joining them and asking!
* Here's a link to our standard list of questions if this will help:
Questions-to-ask-your-healthcare-team.
I wish you well moving forward - you know where we are if you need anything.
(I am off to Turkey for 3 weeks on Tuesday - my daughter is looking after the dog, - she has Grey's herself - but do message me once you are sorted and we must arrange a joint dog walk in one of the parks around Manchester ).
Best wishes - Brian.
