I apologize for all the questions.
But is there a difference between metastasized and advanced prostate cancer?
Thank You
Hi Harry300a5bc36 , no there isn’t a difference although locally advanced means that it has only spread to local lymph and/or surrounding tissue.
Best wishes, David
Please remember that I am not medically trained and the above are my personal views.
Thank You..
I'll start using "mets". I always misspell the full.
So is there hope for recovery if it has spread to the bones?
This is what I fear the most...
Hello Harry (Harry300a5bc36)
The answer to your question is NO. prostate cancer once it gets into the bones can't be cured BUT it can be controlled.
However you don't have a diagnosis yet so think on the positive side.
I don't use "mets" or "metastasis" - I use "walkabout" - it's easier to spell!!
Best wishes - Brian
