   and to everyone else:

I have just heard from Ulls' wife that Ulls passed away on Tuesday 6th May at 6:50am.  He passed away comfortably in a Hospice.

I have known Ulls since I was diagnosed nearly 4 years ago.  He has/had a great character and I feel special to have had the opportunity to know him.  I know Ulls supported Sunderland, but I can't hold that against him.

I managed to get Ulls to join the Maggies' Prostate Support Group in Newcastle with me.  Ulls was there for me in some of my low moments and also there to share in some better moments.  Myself and my partner Tracey will miss him, as will a lot of you in the Macmillan Prostate forum.

I don't think i have stopped crying since I heard the news.

  • Good Morning Liz (

meet up with  in August as he’s coming to the wild country

I am already looking forward to it - it will be nice to put a face to a name - oh and I just love square sausage!! (Lorne sausage)

There is one thing about a cancer journey - only the people affected and their nearest and dearest fully understand it. We have a bond.

    Kind Regards - Brian.

  •   you are more than welcome in this forum.  I have just seen your profile, 'Wow'.

I got Ulls to join the Prostate Cancer Support group at Maggie's in Newcastle a couple of years ago.  I was so nervous finally meeting Ulls, having only corresponded online and on the phone.  What a "great" man, always so calm.  He will be missed by everyone!

I love the quote in your profile::

"Life is not measured by how many breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away!

    That totally sums "life" up.

I wish all the best to you and your family.

  • Oh dear me Steve . You make me laugh even when it’s not a great day  . Thank you

    Liz & OH xx

  • I’m sorry Gina life can be so challenging. I’m sending you a huge hug as I understand.  I don’t know if your GP would prescribe a medication to help with the over active bladder as there are many on the market .

    take care

    Liz & OH xx

  • I do try!  Tracey even says I am trying!
