Hello,
I wondered if anyone could help as I am very confused with my dad's diagnosis. He says he has locally advanced prostate cancer stage 4 a and b. I don't understand the a and b, shouldn't it be one or the other and if it is locally advanced surely it can't be b?
Is advanced stage 4b?
I would also like to ask if anyone is aware you can ask for braccythetapy as a boost for this stage.
Any help very gratefully received.
Yes I've been reading it seems to be the best treatment. I'm going to pursue this. Thanks so much for help.
Yes has to be a good thing hope you make some progress Luv to you both.
Hi Rachel23
My understanding is that stage 4 Prostate Cancer is an advanced-stage prostate cancer that has spread (metastasized) to distant sites or to the lymph nodes. It's further divided into two substages, listed below.
Hope this helps
All of the best.
