As many on the group suffer from either insomnia or nocturia Community member Worriedwife has suggested a new thread where anyone awake can chat or record their thoughts at this time of night (or during the day). Let's give it a go and see. Feel free to chat about cancer, your support or anything that's on your mind at the time. (Please be aware of the Community Guidelines).
This thread isn't a replacement for the "No Specific Topic" thread and I would like to think both threads will work independently. Ladies and gentlemen the thread is yours.

Hi Tony, sorry to hear about this very unwanted development and can well understand the ‘feeling numb’. I hope you did manage to get some sleep ?
Re walking in Hyde Park - well - for the first time this winter I ventured out for an hour or so into my garden yesterday to do some ‘tidying up’ I wasn’t out there for long because it was really cold but just getting amongst the plants etc and outside was so good! It gave me the opportunity to think things through!
i hope your medical team go into their tool box and select the best option for you and things look more positive this morning.
Hi WW,
thank-you , I’m sure they will keep me going for many a year,
Hyde Park is great , yesterday, I crushed some nuts in my hand , blue tits flew on and helped themselves , it was amazing ,
I walked to the round pond , loads of swans are there , it’s very satisfying seeing how comfortable they are round people …
Enjoy your garden
Best Wishes
Tony
Hi Tony
i live in the country and just a few steps takes me out into open fields. Just being able to look far into the distance and just see fields, trees and nature in its seasonal glories is so good for the soul! I find this same peace if we are near the coast. I think being in and close to the natural world is ‘good for the soul’.
i rarely go to any city these days and its years since I walked through Hyde Park. The last time I was there, we saw a man feeding the squirrels - almost by hand. He warned us not to let our children do this if we valued their fingers!!! I wonder , is he and are the squirrels still there?
The squirrels are still there , seen loads , I haven’t seen anyone feeding them by hand , I will definitely keep an eye out for him …
Tony, so sorry to hear your bad news. When are you meeting your team next? I am about to have SABR RT and that might be an option for you, keep us informed. David
Best wishes, David

Good Morning Tony (Tony 123)
I am so sorry to read your news but as others have said, it's one stop in a journey and there's plenty of options for you - keep going and our Prostate family will be with you all the way.
I visit London 5/6 times a year and was amazed last time at the colourful wild parrots flying around in the parks in Central London.
Best wishes - Brian.
