Has anyone used a radical cystoprostatectomy to attack the primary prostate cancer tumor?
In the language that most humans speak, a radical cysto ... y is the surgical removal of the bladder, the prostate, the adjacent lymph nodes, and the seminal vesicles. It is the traditional standard of care for bladder cancer that has penetrated the bladder wall and reached the muscle layer. I am considering it because I suspect I have neuroendocrine prostate cancer, therapies for which are only palliative, and their success is of short duration.
Somebody posted about this a short while ago but I can't remember when! Perhaps Brian will be able to seek the post out (if it was not yourself?)
HI WW, your right it was Seeker01 as well, AH, has responded to him.

Good Evening Everyone
Sorry for the late reply - I've been watching football in Aldershot (don't ask about the result) and I am back home now!!.
Yes, it was the same poster 18 days ago and as Eddie says Alwayshope has put up a great reply. The only other suggestion I can make Seeker01 is to post your question in the Bladder Cancer Group - here's the link:
If that doesn't throw up any replies have you considered asking the question to Prostate Cancer UK?
I hope the above helps.
Best wishes - Brian.

Hello Seeker01 .
I have found only one relevant thread on the PCUK site in 2018, and that appears to have been successful based on subsequent posts.
