I have just read through this excellent downloadable booklet which has been written in plain English. For anyone looking to understand more about prostate cancer I think it is essential reading to add to the guides on PCUK, Macmillan and Cancer Research UK.

  • Have a great holiday.

It's hair cut day today then off for our weekly ice cream. We take pleasure in the smallest of things and just cherish the time we have together.

  • Are you both having your hair done, I have always had my partner do mine, no point going to the barbers when your bald., enjoy your ice cream and I agree 100%, cherish what you have and live in the moment and focus on the important things.

  • Yes we are both booked in at the same time. Hubbys barber is having a real job with his thanks to the chemotherapy. Luckily the village is pretty well supplied with most facilities so the only time we need to travel outside it is for consultants appointments and treatment, but we even have a cardiologist set up now, and the osteopath has her practice next door to us.

  • You never thought about doing each other's hair then. I'm sure you said hubby was good with his hands, though it's nice to be pampered once in a while. my thing is a massage, Sheila tries and she's ok but a professional one is what works for me,though Sheila's do occasionally have their plusses. Your village sounds perfect is it a typical Greek village or are you just very fortunate, I'm glad you found it it must be a wonderful place to be.
