Hi. I had HDR brachytherapy in December followed by 15 doses of radiotherapy. I am also 5 months into hormone therapy (zoladex). I recently started to get symptoms of vertigo. Has anybody else had anything similar please? I read that somebody on an American cancer site who had vertigo whilst on hormone treatment.
Hi Geeforce.
A warm welcome. The hormone therapy has an effect on many systems in the body, one of them being your blood pressure. Can I suggest you take your blood pressure say 3 times a day and also at times when you get the vertigo. I would report it to your doctor but if you have some background data it might help them to rule things in or out. Our blood pressure machine also tells us whether the reading is high or low as well as if it is irregular - an issue which is easily dealt with by medication.
