This is for anyone who can't keep on the topic. It's hard not to stray, but if we have 'no specific topic ' we can't go off topic.
It is good just to be able to wander and talk about other things.
I could have named it 'Waffle'. Then I couldn't go off topic.
Thanks for telling us about Ull’s funeral, Steve. It adds some closure for those of us who live to far away to attend. May he rest in peace and I will remember him with gratitude for his support at one of the darkest times of my life.
WW, whatever the situation, Ulls always knew the right thing to say. If I could be more like this.

eddiel sorry I wasn't more talkative on Monday, I still find it difficult speaking to someone I don't know in person (if you know what I mean).
I'm getting there, slowly but surely.
On Macmillan I can be myself. Next time we meet should be different.

Sometimes it's easier to write things than to speak. Your writing on this forum is great :) From where I sit, you do a grand job!!!! :)

Hi Steve, there's no need to apologise my friend, I wasn't exactly a chatterbox, as my mind was elsewhere, thankfully Tracey loves to chat, and I agree, it was a lovely send off for a wonderful friend, and it's always a honour to represent you guys and the LWIC guys, sadly this isn't my first time, but I'm happy one of us is there.
Steve, as someone who's lost 3 of 4 brothers, I do hope you try to contact your lost sibling(s), I would love to have mine back. I can imagine even though you've not met them, you are feeling some sort of connection to them
It would be lovely to meet up again Steve, maybe with a little planning, we could be joined by one or two others, I don't mind travelling, but not just yet.
The kids mum has a scan on Sunday, then we wait a week to see if all her treatments have been successful, I'm in hospital again for a few days for tests, to control internal hemorrhaging, my youngest daughter is getting married on June 28th, and hopefully Lesley and I can catch up with family in Greece.
PS, I won't tell anyone how you got us both lost, leading me to the reception, lol
Eddie
WW. your words:
Sometimes it's easier to write things than to speak
