This is for anyone who can't keep on the topic.  It's hard not to stray, but if we have 'no specific topic ' we can't go off topic.

It is good just to be able to wander and talk about other things.

I could have named it 'Waffle'.  Then I couldn't go off topic.

  • Brian  4th grandchild and a home win - no wonder real ale was involved!  Congrats. David

    Best wishes, David

  • Hello David

Yes much to celebrate this week. The new welcome new addition to the family and Oldham being in the playoffs for the first time in 18 years. It's going to be a battle of the roses as we have Halifax a week on Wednesday and if we win that one it's York City away. Win that one and Wembley here we come. May the Rosewin!!

    Kind Regards - Brian.

  • I just thought I would share a little bit of good news.

Congratulations Grandad. I hope mother and baby continue to do well.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift.

  • Congrats Brian, a Grandad yet again!!!  Hope everyone is ok.  Little 'Iris Rose Millibob Junior "

I've got every confidence in Oldham in the Play Offs.

It's going down to the wire for Newcastle's Champions League qualification.  If we beat Chelsea at home...

I couldn't believe Liverpool put out a reserve team for the match with Chelsea last week.  Is it because we won the Carabao Cup?

  • Fantastic news and congratulations Grandad. xx

  • Thanks Steve - All is good, little Iris is doing great, football is good, the sun's out - what more could you want.

Newcastle are the Premiership team I follow and they have had a great season so far - it's not over 'till the fat lady sings.

    Kind regards - Brian.

  • Amazing news Brian. A few celebratory aperitifs is a Scottish way of wetting the babies head.

Best wishes to your growing family

    Liz & OH xx

  • Brilliant news, Brian! Welcome to the world little Iris , may you have health, wealth and happiness!

  • Congratulations on your new, beautiful, baby granddaughter, may her life be filled with joy, laughter and endless love... what wonderful news. Love and best wishes to everyone.

  • This one's especially for Ulls, it would have made him laugh... and everyone else of course!!!

    This is True... really!!!

Think of the scene in "When Harry met Sally"... you know which scene...

Well, on my phone I have a sheep who Baa's" when I get a notification!

On Thursday I thought I would change it to a Donkey"Eee Ore".

I thought I had downloaded a Donkey going "Eee Ore", set it for the notification.

About 30 minutes later I got 3 notifications in a row, I heard"Eee Ore, Eee Ore, Eee Ore" then the Donkey went wild and it sounded like it was having an orgasm or 2.

    Talk about embarrassing!!!

I'm only glad it went off at home with just me and Tracey there.

And... yes I did delete it... and went back to the sheep again.
