This is for anyone who can't keep on the topic. It's hard not to stray, but if we have 'no specific topic ' we can't go off topic.
It is good just to be able to wander and talk about other things.
I could have named it 'Waffle'. Then I couldn't go off topic.
Aye - I know which one it is too - it's being used as an adjective I think! I am trying to be good too!!!
Yes all good - a little tired and the toilet is my best friend - but it's curative so as they say no pain no gain and there's plenty of support here and at home so all is well.
Thanks for your support.

Given up booze, no beans pulses or green leaf veg. Drink plenty of water and decaff coffee. (don't want too much wind)
You can see me walking round Oldham with a halo on my head!!

I am looking forward to having my second cataract done as I am hoping once this - my good eye is done I will be able to read more easily. I do miss reading. The eye shield is funny. After my first op we went off for lunch in town and I wondered why everyone was staring at me - the eye patch. I was hoping they would think I had been in a big fight - not that I ever was. Then looking at my feeble old body I thought no they probably think that poor old dab has had a bad fall and his daughter (my wife) has to take him out shopping As having my eyes done in Winter my wife is denied the opportunity of having a knickerbocker glory at the ice cream parlour - the hospital is near the sea side and that's what she treated herself to after her cataract ops but the ice cream parlour is mothballed until next March so we had to make do with Veg Tom Yum for her and Pad Thai for me at my favourite Thai restaurant.
We found we got in the routine of the drops easily and missed doing them when we finished. I had just started going back to the gym after my first operation so have to lay off for a short while again. The gym is our social gathering point at the moment so I will miss it - though if there with a load of oldies all we talk about is our medication and aches and pains Right the sun has aired the streets and what frost was there is going so must make my walk to the pharmacy and collect my prescription and maybe a coffee.
That’s probably my fault! I rested my finger on my iPad and a message flagged up briefly and I wondered what it was! I took no offence and if it was my fault I offer my sincere apologies! I appreciate your kindness and your frankness gentlemen and Gina!
It's so true about the toilet being your best friend.
Who is there for you when:
Always the same toilet, it never complains or anything.
It is "Man's Best Friend".
I always get up in the middle of the night to see how the toilet is doing.
If only it could talk!!!

I know the word I used - it's the 6.6.x 2' x 2' box we all end up in but in the pub my drinking group are know as the ......dodgers!!
