This is for anyone who can't keep on the topic.  It's hard not to stray, but if we have 'no specific topic ' we can't go off topic.

It is good just to be able to wander and talk about other things.

I could have named it 'Waffle'.  Then I couldn't go off topic.

  • Hi Brian, finishing line in site, doesn't seem that long you were telling us you were going to the first appointment.

  • Hi Ulls - You know it's gone very quick - and in a way I will miss it - the social side - not the enemas!!

  • I must have a happy gene.

  • I had to do my enemas at the hospital as it takes to long to get there, but you're right they are a pain in the A***

  • I manage mine in the comfort of my home thunderbox as I am just over a mile from the hospital. Peace, tranquility, a wooden seat, soft toilet paper, and something to read. I didn't take a brew with me as it's not done in the real North of England!

  • It's only 8 mile drive but the appointment we at 10 so traffic was extream, parking no problems as specific place on ground floor.

  • My body is telling me it’s not happy. I am not normally an early riser but sleep has become a rare commodity these days! I would now like to go to sleep and wake up in 21 days time and know we’ve got through the ( hopefully) worst of this nightmare!

  • If it were in Yorkshire it would be a nice cup of Yorkshire Tea.

  • I am glad I done mine at the hospital.

WW, Is your husband going to have his at the hospital?  I can't imagine getting stuck in traffic if I needed to go!!  Especially with an enema.

I remember before I had my first one, I was naturally nervous.  Someone in this forum (sorry I can't remember who) said they are like a "stick of dynamite", one bang and it's gone.  How true it was.

  • In the words on the tube "works within 5 - 15 minuets".

As for "Yorkshire Tea" - Well God built the Pennines to keep that stuff on the right side of the border!! (Red Rose here!!)
