Just a short posting to give encouragement to fellow sufferers. I was diagnosed with organ confined intermediate prostate cancer, Gleason 7 4+3 in April 2024. I chose Radiotherapy with ADT and also had Spaceoar administered prior to RT.
I finished all treatment 18 months ago, just monitoring to check my PSA. Since then my readings have been 0.4 0.2 0.2 and the latest 1/4/26 was less than 0.2. Apparently a reading of 0.5 or less means at this time after treatment has finished means I’m on track for a cure.
At the moment I feel good, no incontinence at all, energy is pretty good for a 75 year old and the bedroom is about 75/80% of what it was before treatment.
Anyone who is diagnosed with this desease please don’t lose hope … it can be cured, long journey but you’ll get there. Best wishes. Peter
