Any one advise as to the mood swings, the short temper?
I know it can’t be easy for him but sometimes whatever I do or say ….
I have really appreciated reading these replies as the child of someone whose mood swings and bursts of temper were awful after hormone therapy for prostate cancer. I found encouraging them to go for a walk when these swings occur helped as they could counterbalance the bad mood with the release of dopamine etc
Elf,
These mood swings, at first, I didn't know how to deal with them. I wasn't realising anything was wrong.
Now some 18 months on, stuff still comes out wrong. I am still tending to snap at my partner for the slightest reason (if any). I don't mean to snap, she doesn't deserve it.
I am getting some Acupuncture for the Hot Flushes and anxiety, hoping it will help my mood swings.
