Abiraterone or Enzalutamide

Glad to hear you're psa has fallen again. Mine is undetectable after the last blood test but getting aches and pains which my oncologist wants to investigate with a bone scan as I have a few metastases on my ribs and pelvis. May be nothing but xtandi does have an effect on weakening the bones!

Still have hot flushes and fatigue the warm weather doesn't help. Keep positive. 

My PSA seems to have bottomed out at 0.06, the docs seem happy with that and I feel well. My hospital(Royal Marsden) offer an accupuncture course to help with hot flushes, which I had badly, and also fatigue. I found it helped very much over time and I've been taught to self-needle so I can carry on looking after myself. I only found out by chance, so maybe your hospital does it too?

I hope your bone scan goes well. I think I have been fortunate as I have never experiences hot flushes, Everyone is different.

Quick update 

PSA stable at 0.06. Given 2 months supply or Enzalutamide. Doing exercises for shoulder stiffness (wear and tear) making a big difference. Fatigue is a little worse, probably need to do more walking.

Chaps01 Hi Dave. Have you tried swimming? It's great for the shoulders and you don't need to worry about walking in the cold and rain!
