Had my latest zoladex jab from my GP a couple of weeks ago and he shocked me by saying this treatment is known as "chemical castration." Not something I wanted to hear, but checking my testicles at home, sure enough they have diminished in size and feel quite squidgy. I was not aware of this at the start of my treatment so be prepared guys! It's not a problem now I know though, I can cope with it.
I think this is fairly common but something nobody talks about. I have been on HT since Nov 2018 and have lost about 50% of the size of my testicles and you're quite right they do loose their firmness. It can come as a bit of a shock if nobody forewarns you.
Good luck with future treatment Regards Reg.
i have been on HT for five years. Jab every six months and PSA constant at 0.006
The one thing I did find that after about a year my foreskin was sticking to the shaft.
(lovely conversation on a Friday morning) Following discussion with my GP I now apply
Elocon ointment after a bath or shower. In other words keep it lubricated.
Stay safe
Good tip, mine is tightening up so will try that.
