Hi Caz
I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's poor health. The illness is as much a burden on the immediate family as it is on the patient.
My best advice is for you to contact Macmillan who will be able to give you some guidance and general help. I would certainly put a call through to your Dad's Consultant whom, I'm sure, should be able to help. I would suggest that you write down all the questions you have in mind before making the call as it is so easy to forget important matters. I often ring the senior cancer nurse at my hospital as she is a very good intermediary.
I do hope that you are able to get some good advice.
Very best wishes,
Andy
Hi
Its very sad at what you have told us, unless they have told you different, they are still trying to treat the cancer, so all’s not lost yet. As Andy has said either email or contact the McMillan nurses, if your having difficulty, ask if you can have a visit from a nurse as a matter of importance, with covid don’t know if they will send one, but worth a try.
Keep positive
stay safe
Joe
