Care Plan?

I think the nearest you come on this journey to a “care plan” is a letter from the hospital telling you what he’s got and what they plan to do to cure him.

As you are at Christies after treatment ends he will join their PEASS system (Prostate Easy Access Self Service) where his PSA will be regularly tested and he will have contact details for 2 named Cancer Nurse Specialists.

I hope the radiotherapy is going well.

we havnt had anything really.  Just a list of his radiotherapy appointments which is a waste of time anyway, as they change the time every morning.  Bit awkward when you have to plan your bus times to suit.  Tried to tell them husband cant take phone calls but still he gets them. 
not had any test results except the ones i have asked for. If i didnt ask i wouldnt get.  Just feeling a bit abandoned.

Sadly “a bit abandoned” is good service from the NHS.

If you want something or have questions you need to ask. You have to advocate for yourself as the system is full to capacity and although some staff members would love to spend more time with you they can’t.

Even Radiotherapy is full to capacity.
