For over 8 weeks have had joint pain in the majority of my joints and thought originally may be an auto immune issue but a stool test was positive, CT scan was clear but waiting for a camera in my rear to look for other issues. I have had a PSA test an waiting for results, my bones in buttocks, thighs and arms are painful now, have constipation petrified of hearing the word cancer from my doctor. Inside my mouth have a blood blister by the looks of it. My emotions are all over the place and do not think I can cope, if I have secondary bone cancer my time is short and have seen close members of my family suffer with this and could not cope with fractures/breaks Not sure what to do.

  • Hi JD and welcome

It's understandable  the way  u r feeling but may be premature

Firstly bone pain doesn't have to mean cancer, prostate or elsewhere.

Likewise, a positive stool sample doesn't necessarily mean bowel cancer.

It's good that the CT scan was clear , if this covered the prostate area this should mean that u do not have a major problem there.

Wait for the other tests, hopefully will be clearer then,

    Best wishes

    Steve
