Had my prostate removed in September, margins were positive, start RT on Wednesday. My hips are sore my right groin hurts and i have prickling sensations in my legs. My oncologist says it's nothing to with the cancer, is he lying or ill informing me. I've never had there feelings until early December! Had Mri scan last week, no results as yet! Has anybody been in this situation before???
Many thanks mark
Hi PP
Welcome to the site.
What was your psa and Gleeson just before surgery?
What is psa now?
I had many aches and pains before, during and after treatment, didn't amount to anything. Try not to worry too much at this stage.
Hope all goes well with the RT
Steve
Hello Steve and thanks for your message
PSA was 10.1 three months before surgery, 0.4 6 weeks after surgery on 11/9/19 And had risen to 0.6 08/02/20 Gleason was 3/4 and diagnosed as T3a, was fine until early December when all there strange feelings started, walking eases them but straight back when stop moving or resting! And i'm 100% continent after three months "dodged a bullet there" but still no joy as to anything else!
Many thanks to you!
