Furry animal pets are reckoned to help people with worries. I was on Bicalutamide for 30 days and perhaps it was due to my advanced age sometimes felt as low as I have ever felt. My wife helped me through it but also my ageing Cat called Wussers who sleeps up to 22 hours a day curling up on and in my bed am sure helped me through it and continues to do. Perhaps she was a distraction from my worries but am sure it helped. Have any contributors felt pets have helped them through their travails ?.
Yes indeed. As you might have guessed from my profile picture we have a retired racing greyhound who is nearly 10. I found that needing to take the dog for a walk every day helped a lot with recovering quite quickly from the radiotherapy induced fatigue. He walks two or three miles every day in all weathers and it's great exercise.
