My history is Bicalutamide during April then a single injection of Stap 3 at beginning of May Since then PSA is down to 2.1 and on Wait and See. Am no stranger to tingling in legs as have had it several times during both of the above but usually a short occurrence lasting a day or part of. I took it all as part of my Hormone Therapy. Still have Hot Flushes day and night.. Have just had 24 consecutive days and nights of tingling in legs, hands and principally feet. Have had Diabetes type 2 for 20 years and Diabetes Nurse checked me out very recently and checked the 2 pulses in each foot and OK. Blood sugar a bit up recently and starting new medication tomorrow. Booklet says Hormone therapy leads to an increased chances of Diabetes type 2 so have your blood sugar checked out. Have tried soft top socks and Voltarol in only one of my knees which is feeling a bit of discomfort. Neither had any effect on foot tingling. Wondering if this is a legacy of both Prostate medications. Problem is don't know if any problems in my body are from old age being 79, Diabetes or Prostate problems. Last week had a heart ECG and OK. Also a chest x ray after coughing and phlegm for 8 weeks but lungs OK. Sputum checked and was OK as outside possibility of having lung cancer but mercifully OK but had to check. Tingling not painful but always there and a nuisance really but might lead to other things. Am aware of worse things on this Forum so feeling a bit trivial reporting it. Picked up a leaflet at GP's suggesting reporting a cough lasting more than 3 weeks. Have a history of letting things go on too long without reporting it. Like peeing every hour thought it was due to old age.
Hi
I can't help with your tingling legs but I did notice that your post hadn't had any response. This could be because no one else has had this experience or just that the right person hasn't seen your post yet. By replying to you it will 'bump' your post back to the top of the page where it can be easily seen.
I presume that you've mentioned this tingling while seeing your GP recently and they haven't been able to shed any light on what might be causing it. Have you spoken to your CNS?
While you're waiting for replies you could post your question in ask a nurse and one of the specialist nurses will respond within 2 working days.
When you have a minute it would be really useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
I hope you are able to get this sorted soon as I could imagine that it would be very uncomfortable.
Hi Oldtimer, have you had chemotherapy, this can cause tingling at nerve ends.
Tingling in hands and/or feet is listed as an uncommon side effect of PROSTAP 3.
I believe diabetes can cause neuropathy too.

Am Diabetic Type 2 Have not monitored my Blood sugar for a while but thought it was OK but found is about 9.0 which is above normal for my condition. Told my Diabetic Nurse and she prescribed an additional medication and first result showed down to 7.0. Will continue to monitor with my Accu-check and see if tingling decreases or ceases and report any change. Nurse checked my two pulses in both feet and OK. Have also had a recent blood test and ECG and lung X-ray all successful. Am 79 and never sure my symptoms are due to old age, Diabetes or Prostate problems. Said that to GP and he concurred. While he was away had an experienced locum but his reply was non committal. Booklet on Hormone Therapy said treatment can just possibly lead to Diabetes Type 2 so should have taken the hint and checked my level.
