Hi Everyone,
I have prostate cancer and have Prostate Injections every 3months my question is what pain relief does everyone take. I take 200mg of Pregabalin twice a day but this does not seem to work as I am in a lot of pain in my lower back.
Thanks
My partner is on Pregablin and Oramorph which is a oral morphine that he can take when ever he is in pain. It does the trick as he also has cancer in his back and ribs.
You have to be careful how much you have as it can put you bit out of it for a while.
Hope this helps and you get the medication you need.
Big hug, June x
Thanks for your post, did your doctor prescribe the Oramorph or was it the hospital?
My cancer has spread to my shoulders and neck and movement including walking is very painful. All my doctor does is increase the dosage, I started on 50mg and have worked my way to 200mg twice a day but it does not work.
Thanks
