Help with Bladder weakness

my husband who is in his 40’s is having to have his prostate removed. Unfortunately this is going to be complicated surgery for him as he has a colostomy bag, no large bowel and alot of scar tissue. He has been told that he will likely have very small bladder control afterwards which will be permanent and Won’t just be a small bit when he coughs it will be alot. Has anyone had this, what advice for pads etc do you have? How do you live with it? What can I do to help him with this life changing thing. He has a colostomy bag which he is 100% fine with but I feel this is going to really knock his confidence

The most help should come from your surgical team who can point to specialist treatment.

One thing about this is that there is a lot of information. I have found, since diagnosis, that the more I understand, the more direct questions I can ask.
