Tamsulosin

I've been taking Tamsulosin daily for about 4 years for chronic prostatitis. It has definitely helped to make the flare ups less frequent and less severe.  However, my grip is not as tight as it used to be and I'm wondering if it's because of the Tamsulosin, which is a muscle relaxent. Maybe I'll try and wean myself off it like Geoff. 

Geoff, how did the caffeinated coffee  affect you? 

I never get any rush from caffeine!

Mace, I'm on blood thinners (Apixiban) as well as the Tamsulosin. Hmm... 

Hi. I was going to the loo at least once an hour and I found myself running to go whenever I arrived home. All stopped when I reverted back to the decaffeinated again.

I'm trying to get off it but it works so well it's not easy

Mace, it works great for me, like I can hold it in again... apart from the odd occasion.

Yes same here but I worry a bit about the low red blood count although it may be nothing to do with it 

I think I might try to go back on decaf coffee.  Not that I drink loads of it.  Just to see if it makes any difference.

I only ever went on decaf when I was going through my Radiotherapy, 4 years ago now (how time flies).

Mace, was it instant coffee or filter?
