Hello All
Husband had a GA biopsy on Wednesday . There was much contradiction and confusion about blood thinners after the biopsy (he stopped before and took tinzaparin). He has been told to continue injections AND to recommence Warfarin but he was also told not to do both things. Every single HCP said a different thing. His urine is cranberry juice red. I know blood in urine is normal but wondered if anyone had any specific experience with biopsy and blood thinners? He is very stressed , understandably. He has phoned about the urine and advice on that has been very vague. The discharge information really ahs been woeful..
Hello SalK90f8c0
It's Saturday lunchtime so you won't be able to get hold of your GP until Monday.
The correct course of action today would be to call 111 for help and advice. If the condition continues then it's a trip to your local A & E department.
The last thing anyone wants on their cancer journey is additional stress.
Do let us know how you get on.
Best wishes - Brian.

Thanks. Husband has phoned various people over the last couple of weekdays and got a range of answers from A and E to wait 2 weeks to 'why are you even calling us?' , hence the confusion! He does have an INR test Monday so hopefully he'll get some advice then.
