hi I've recently finished my chemotherapy and im now on darolutamide tablets and 3 monthly Decapeptyl hormone injection.
im just enquiring if anyone is on the same treatment as im getting alot of pains in my legs a little like the feeling you get when you've been to the gym and the next day all your muscles are aching. also my legs and ankles keep swelling up. thanks in advance for any replies.
Hello golfboy,
I started darolutamide last year and hve been getting intermittent pain in my left leg very similar to your description, often (though not exclusively) through the night. So far I've just assumed it's part of the side effects of HT or darolutamide so am putting up with it for now as I can sometimes fall back to sleep after a while.
I don't have any problem with swelling of legs and ankles, if this was happening I'd be asking my consultant / nurse at the next 12 week review whether they can do something about it.
I hope you can get this sorted,
Derek.

Bit late but......on decapeptyl and darolutamide for recurrent Stage 4 Metastatic. Unlike original 2 1/2 years on decapeptyl following EBRT (which clearly didn't work!) aching upper arms, both sides equally, when cycling. Lessened by raising cockpit to give a more upright riding position and thus reducing weight on arms!
Only when cycling and intermittent. Msybe for 20% of my 20 miles today.
I'm assuming side effect rather than the spread to lymphs.
Good luck, Dave
