So I had a meeting yesterday with the consultant, he had the MRI results and ran through them very quickly.
He didn't seem concerned at all, but advised a biopsy given the slightly elevated psa and borderline density.
Had the biopsy and await the results.
I had to ring and ask his secretary for the results of the MRI, what a job that was !! She flew off the rail saying I couldn't have he results, I had to interrupt her and politely advise that they were in fact MY results and happy to take it further.
She then rang the consultant before emailing them to me and my doctor.
Conclusion from the MRI below.
Conclusion:
Diffuse non-specific bilateral |prostatic peripheral zone
findings (PIRADS 2, LIKERTS 3) can represent prostatitis and
or prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia.
Elevated PSA density (0.15 ng/ml/cc)
