Well, PSA results are back and it's up again as expected, now at 3.80.
Further blood tests ordered to test my testosterone (I can tell them it's back without a test ) and liver and kidney function and a PSMA PET Scan is being ordered.
I will keep you all updated - I know now after 3.5 years why they call this a "journey"
Thank you all for your comments and good wishes and continued support across the entire Community.

Hi Millibob
Thank you for the feed back , So you got roughly 9 months HT free. and a good 6 months with a lower rising PSA. Which was actually rather good (in a way) Obviously life with HT is not ideal, but better than no HT.
I'm wondering. Looking at it from an intermittent on off angle as to how long will your PSA take to come down again ,( probably instantly if HT is working?) Then I wonder how long a gap for another break without causing a problem. I shall post and ask if there's anyone here doing intermittent HT use , I'm sure there is.
Weight gain and Ht.- In our house BW has managed to keep his weight steady in the last three years with HT and I managed to put on three and a half stone!

Hello Lorraine (BW)
Yes I would say 15 months of "Normal Life". After my 3 years on HT my testosterone levels came back very quickly (no test required to tell me it was back ).
I have a face to face Consultants appointment for the scan results and to see how I am on Thursday 23 September. I did ask if a PSA test was required but the answer was no. I will ask at the meeting when my next PSA test is due.
The Ozempic started with the first half dose on Saturday - I am already seeing a change in my eating habits!! I hate to think what I will be like in a month when I up to the full dose!!
Best wishes to you and BW - Brian xx

Hello Steve (Stevecam)
Thanks for your support pal.
No the "holidays" are periods off HT. Strange for me I have no holidays booked but am thinking of a week in the UK next month - watch this space.
A PSA of 0.30 is wonderful.
Edit - I have no idea about how the weight loss jab will affect beer - I am out with some mates tonight so I will test the theory!!.
Kind Regards - Brian.

It won't be good with the beer -any alcohol in fact.
But I read all the side effects - and I will need a drink to get over them, besides Real Ale is a natural product and the Government say I can have 14 units per week.
Oh Dear, disaster!
I hope not!
