Hi all,
been a while but I was focussed on finishing my treatment which finally completed on boxing day. Must say it all went pretty much to plan with no real problems along the way. (I don't count the machine breaking down ... only once!)
I just my my first monitoring review with my consultant & thankfully all is well. My PSA is now 0.12.
I know I am not out of the woods yet but .... onwards & upwards
He tells me I need a check every 6 months for 5 years & blood tests every quarter.
I have had no side effects during or after treatment so feel lucky.
I think I now feel back to normal & have booked 2 holidays already!!
I wanted to post this to thank all who gave me support as it was an important part of getting through.
So THANK YOU ALL & my very best wishes for 2025.
Take Care everyone !!!
