Well, that was quick. I chased the medical oncologist (Greek God) up this morning and he has had a pow wow with the radio oncologist, so I was told to speak to him as they both thought hubby was eligible for SBRT on the distant mets. Did this at lunchtime and was asked when we would like it done. Whenever we replied. Got a text at 17:30 to ask if we are available TOMORROW at 15:50 for the planning scan and can we take the PSMA PET scan disc. So all set for treatment starting next week. Having to sort out an apartment near the hospital for a couple of weeks as he predicts it will be 5 sessions on alternate week days.
Morning AH,
Just thinking of you both. How are you doing?
Lots of love
Dafna from a beautiful day in Brighton
Good morning Dafna. Thank you for checking in on us. All is under control at the moment although the GP is not happy with the dose of tablets that the hospital have prescribed for the anticoagulants when hubby finishes the injections in 17 days time because of hubby's CKD so we also have to see the nephrologist next week along with the GG and the cardiologist. Hubby's breathing is definitely easier now.
A sunny day in Greece as well with the forecast up to 18C today. All the olive trees have been pruned and the debris stacked ready for a fire. Hedges are the next job but a coffee with a slice of banana bread on the top terrace looking out to sea will be a welcome break.
Hope everything is well with you and Jacob in sunny Brighton.
I'd enquire about Apixiban, they also come in different doses.
Sunny in Gozo, about 22 degrees.

Thanks Steve. Your comments coincide with my research so it is definitely on the list of questions for next week especially as hubby has had a head injury from when he was blown up.
Enjoy Gozo, Spring seems to be on the way in our part of the Mediterranean, even the lizards have come out to sun themselves.
Thanks, Alwayshope, the weather here is crazy!! Yesterday we were stuck in hailstones, today is a summer's day!
It's great to see the spring flowers blooming. Loads of bees.
How was your hubby blown up, if you don't mind me asking?
Steve (SteveCam)
He was on a 'mission' when his jeep went over a mine.
Hi , glad to hear that your husbands breathing a bit better . As it’s frightening for you both . We were in Aberdeen for a few days and it hit a high 12 degrees .OH even had the sunglasses on .
Hugs to you both

That has reminded me Liz. It is important to have a regular eye check when on hormone therapy.
Glad you had a good time away - where next?
Hi Alwayshope
I hope you are both well .
didn’t know about the eye testing . He just had a diabetic eye test two weeks ago albeit he’s been in remission from diabetes for the past 5 years plus . But thank you for this information .
once he’s seen by the Oncologist at the end of March our plan is to head away for three weeks to Providenciales, Turks & Caicos so he can scuba dive if everything is Ok . Wd both get pretty stressed leading up to his blood tests as you never know . I do think most people on this journey will be the same .
huge hugs
Liz & OH xx
