5 DAY Radiotherapy without HT coming soon?

According to news reports 5 day radiotherapy without HT may come in soon,got to be good news! for those its available to.

I did ask about this ,when deciding on RT,but was told ,not yet available at Cheltenham Oncology,perhaps things will change?

How will it affect,those of us that have just started HT?

Think I will drop my Lead Nurse a line later this week.

About 20 hot flushes in 24 hours, if I didn't sit straight down in front of a fan then the sweat would be dripping off my brow for up to 15 minutes and I would feel exhausted afterwards. ie continually tired and drained.

Harry - My personal "cure" for hot flushes is Sage tablets. The don't work for us all but they do for me.

Mine are "Manoforce" from H & B on the High Street or an online retailer named after a South American river, Other suppliers are available.

Millibob, yes, I've been on the sage capsules since month 2, get them from Zipvit and definitely work. Stopped taking them a couple of months ago and within 2 weeks the flushes were back, although mild. Cheers for the advice though.
