For those who are not aware of these. Just thought I would share this with everyone. My husband is suffering badly with hot flushes due to the Hormone Implant but I have found a solution. I have brought a chill pillow which has cooling gel inside it. You just insert it into your pillow case. I got 2 for £9.99 from Amazon. My husband thinks they are great (so do I), he is sleeping so much better.
I am with Ulls here. We suffer - I know you ladies suffer - it's a hard one. I am just coming to a point where I am on my way to being free of appointments, treatments but - it's still there. Mrs Millibob and I still cry - we did today -I have issues but we are trying to live a normal life - yes I have booked a holiday - yes I still like to be near a toilet but this cancer is not going to beat us.
Dancing50 go for it you need the holiday and more than that you are a vital piece of support for your other half. We men need our partners more than you know,
Sorry but that''s how I feel - It's no doubt my hormones!!
Brian.
