I know you can get free prescriptions when you are being treated for cancer, but can you get them after a prostatectomy when the cancer should be "cured"?
Andrew
I am wondering the same Andrew, but my view would be that prescriptions will remain free, at least for as long as we have treatment relating to PCa.
I have also had surgery and, even in the event my cancer is ever deemed “cured”, there are still the side effects of the surgery to consider. The obvious example would be any treatment for ED, which should be available to us on prescription. Such treatment in my view is part of ongoing cancer treatment as the issue will be a direct result of surgery.
Hope I’m right!!
