Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with PC in 2018 when I was 71 years young! Since chemo I've been on Zoladex every 3 months which as the data tells you, that you will gain a few "love handles" etc. Initially I put on 3 lbs weight which remained stable up to the first covid lockdown at which I was labeled as shielded. I try not to sit on my bum as much as possible and walk something like 9 miles a week but find that I'm now putting weight on again, an extra 5ibs up to now. Has anyone else come across this same problem and what can I do about it.
Cheers everyone
Keith
If it isn't the activity (or lack of) then it's the diet. The boredom of lockdown is designed to make you snack all day, without even thinking about it.
I had a weight-gain issue when I was on Zoladex: I still walk 3 or 4 miles most days, and walk pretty much everywhere I need to go.
But it's clearing the house of snacks that turned things around for me, and I also tried the 'food-free' thing - I called it starve Tuesday. And it really helped.
Of course it was much easier for me, I was so much younger (67)

If I can't beat this, I'm going for the draw.
Meanwhile, my priority is to live while I have the option.
