Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
I'm very sorry to hear that you've recently been diagnosed with a pituitary tumour.
I haven't had a MRI scan but I would think the length of wait very much depends on how busy the scanner is at your hospital. Have you been assigned a cancer nurse specialist (CNS) yet? If so, then I'd recommend giving her a call on Monday as she should be able to answer your question.
If you don't have a CNS yet then you could call your consultant's secretary and ask her how long you might have to wait.
Wishing you all the best

That's good news , not long to wait.
